The Sydney Catholic Schools Communications Team looks after media liaison, writing for various publications, crisis and issues management, photography, media monitoring, the publication of the system magazine About Catholic Schools, electronic publishing, marketing and management of the public website. It also manages the CEO Bookshop.

An important part of the work of the team is to provide a written or visual record of the important events and milestones that happen every day in and around our schools. It also provides opportunities for that information to be published in system publications and in local and mainstream media.

    My Journey in Rome

I am an art teacher at St Patrick’s Catholic Primary school Sutherland.
I embarked on a journey of a life time! Never did Idream this would happen in my life as an artist to be given the opportunity to showcase my work of art in the Vatican City!

I journeyed with 30,000.00 pilgrims from all over the world to attend the 50th Catholic Charismatic Renewal event in Rome. We attended some ecumenical workshop and seminar, Saturday Vigil at Circus Maximus and Sunday Pentecost mass at St. Peter Square was a highlight.

Pope Francis said in his homily for Pentecost : “To each he gives a gift, and then gathers them all into unity. In other words, the same Spirit creates diversity and unity, and in this way forms a new, diverse and unified people :the universal Church.”
