Students set to shine at NSW Training Awards

Five Southern Cross Catholic Vocational College (SCCVC) students are regional finalists in the 2017 NSW Training Awards.

The group represent the largest number of students of the Burwood College who have been nominated for the awards in one year since the College opened in 2010. SCCVC has also had successes at a National level, winning the prestigious ‘School Pathways to VET’ Australian Training Award twice in three years.

The NSW Training Awards are conducted by Training Services NSW and recognise the achievements of individuals, employers and training organisations involved in Vocational Education and Training (VET). Awards categories include apprentice, school-based apprentice, vocational student and trainee of the year awards, and another for VET Teacher of the Year. Award ceremonies will be held in June, followed by state and national awards.

  • Annalise Dell’Aia – School Based Apprentice of the Year – Central and Northern Sydney Region
