Day 4: Rome, am to pm

Another 5am wake up call, quick breakfast and back on the road for Bus 5 to celebrate Mass at St. Paul’s Basilica.

The church was built where St. Paul was persecuted. Pilgrims got to walk through the holy door to achieve plenary indulgence.
We walked through the grounds, then back on the bus to head towards catacombs San Callisto. There we went underground to see the tombs of the persecuted Christians.
After our tour, we headed towards St Mary Maggorre Bascillica, the miracle of this church was discovered by Snow in the middle of summer in August as a message from Christ instructing a church to be named after her.
Pilgrims enjoyed lunch and free time in the beautiful city of Rome. Great food and yummy gelato. Gorgeous sites to see and amazing locals.
Our last visit was to the holy stairs, where all pilgrims where able to walk up each step on their knees praying a prayer and specific intention from their heart.
It’s been a fantastic day and we are looking forward to a great dinner with the group tonight!!!
