What’s cooking for parents and next year’s Kindy classes?

St Paul of the Cross Catholic Primary School Dulwich Hill has held its Reading and Cooking Day for the Kindergarten children (and their parents) for 2016.

It’s part of a nine-week program that starts in July and ends in September.FullSizeRender (2)

It orientates the children to school by giving learning opportunities in literacy, numeracy, cooking, gross motor skills, ICT, sharing and prayer.

Students wear a Transition uniform (a cap and Tshirt) and receive a certificate of attendance at their graduation in the school hall.

“We’ve been running it for several years and it’s very successful, it makes a big difference to the first day of school for Kindergarten,” said Principal Mary Colagrossi.
