Bright flowers and teacups greeted all generations of families to St Patrick’s Catholic Primary School, Sutherland for a Mother’s Day Morning Tea this week.
For the second year, teachers decorated the school hall with flowers and brought their tea sets and Family Educator, Mouna Roche baked and organised cupcakes for the high morning tea.
It’s all based on the belief that “no mum lifts a finger” for the special treat.
The choir sand tributes to Mums and Stephanie Swords, Year 4, sang “Somewhere over the Rainbow”.
“There wasn’t a dry eye in the house,” said Mouna Roche.
